Schematic Design studies for an outdoor “Shade Room” / Side Porch addition to a Mediterranean style home in an inner NE Portland Historic neighborhood. The home itself is “non contributing” but being in a historic designated neighborhood the design is going through a land use planning and zoning review [90 days] and will also be visiting the neighborhood committee as well. We are working hard to create a vibrant and exciting new space while honoring and integrating the design with the existing homes architecture and the overall neighborhood scale texture and feel.
Plus summers are getting hotter here in the PNW!
