The Shaderooms walls are being stuccoed with their base scratch coat and top finishing coat. It is great to start getting a feel for the solidity that the stucco walls provide ! Even though the Shaderoom is technically and unconditioned-outdoor space we spec’d out mineral wool insulation in the walls and roof to reduce heat gain from the western summer sun on the masonry stucco and tile surfaces.
